Together with Städtebaumanufaktur, we are working on updating the ISEK (integrated urban development concept) with VU (preparatory studies). The planning process, which has been running since 2023, will take around 1.5 – 2 years and will be accompanied by various participation formats with different stakeholders.
The market town of Peiting has already been involved in the redevelopment of the town center for several years. The ISEK with VU must be updated to review the redevelopment goals achieved to date. The objectives of the ISEK with VU are to spatially and functionally strengthen the town center, improve the quality of living and quality of life, protect the architectural identity and prepare the municipality well for climatic changes. Overall, the project aims to eliminate urban and open space planning deficits. Another reason for updating the ISEK is the possibility of obtaining funding for future projects that are in the public interest.
