The multi-family house from the 1950s had undergo a major modernization. Kitchens and bathrooms and staircase had to be modernized, and the facade was to be newly isolated.
Through close coordination with the energy consultant a solution to provide the building with reduced isolation while keeping a good performance was worked out. Thus, the original character of the building was kept. Through light variations of the plasterwork, the urban and topographic position of the building was reacted upon.
