Since 2024, BHSF has been planning a comprehensive refurbishment and façade renovation for an office building on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. The project has now been granted planning permission. The building at 106 Bahnhofstrasse was constructed in the late 1950s and is a prime example of the highly efficient construction methods of its time. From today’s perspective, the economical and targeted use of steel-reinforced concrete is particularly noteworthy; this was made possible by the selective use of prestressing in the core of the building. The team is now looking forward to carrying out this challenging project.
